Baby spinach salad with strawberries and feta

Enjoy this deliciously fresh and crunchy salad with baby spinach, strawberries and feta. The combination of fresh baby spinach, juicy strawberries and creamy feta makes for a tasty and colourful experience. Perfect as a light lunch or as a tasty side dish with dinner.

Shopping list

  • 1 tub (125g) baby spinach
  • 200g strawberries, sliced
  • 100g feta, crumbled
  • 50g walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 1 avocado, cubed
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

 

Preparation method:

Preparation: Wash and drain the baby spinach. Place the spinach in a large bowl.
Add the ingredients: Add the sliced ​​strawberries, crumbled feta, chopped walnuts and diced avocado to the spinach.
Make the dressing: Combine the balsamic vinegar, honey, olive oil, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Whisk well until smooth.
Mix the salad: Pour the dressing over the salad and gently toss everything together so that the dressing is evenly distributed.
Serve: Serve the salad immediately for the best taste and freshness.

Tips & tricks Fino Fresco baby spinach

Combine well: light olive oil and mild vinegars, lemon, fresh Italian herbs, mild cheeses such as feta and mozzarella, walnuts, tomatoes and/or olives.

Use: as a salad or as part of a mixed salad. Baby spinach is also delicious in pasta, risotto or mashed potatoes. Only add the leaves at the very last moment. They are best when crunchy.

Storage: in the original packaging in the refrigerator. Washed and thoroughly dried baby spinach can be kept in a well-sealed refrigerator container for a few days.

Cleaning: wash the spinach leaves in plenty of cold water and spin them dry in a salad spinner.
